Management Team
Dustin Niglio
PresidentAfter spending several years in the merchant services industry working with various acquirers, Dustin co-founded Payment Logistics with his brother Britton. Their goal was to create a company that genuinely put the needs of its customers first. Dustin believes in a “hands-on” approach and is involved in all facets of the business. His strategic leadership led to the acquisition of Payment Logistics’ in-house data center and the implementation of the in-house PaygistiX payment gateway. Leading the development of the industry's first in-house Managed Data Security Service and spearheading the company's own data security initiatives, Dustin has helped Payment Logistics and many of its clients obtain tangible data security and achieve true and ongoing PCI DSS compliance.
Early on in his career as a bankcard professional, Dustin realized the importance of being accountable to clients and representatives. This ideology acts as a driving force behind Payment Logistics commitment to provide its services in-house. Dustin is an expert in multiple payment applications and software based systems and has trained the technical support staff to support programs like PC Charge, Micros, Aloha, Microsoft Dynamics RMS and many others. Dustin is a Fortinet engineer and has trained the technical support staff on the proper use and configuration of the Fortigate unified threat management appliances, FortiClient endpoint protection software, FortiManager appliance management device and the FortiAnalyzer logging and vulnerability management device.
Dustin attended San Diego State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance and met the love of his life, Krista Niglio. On the weekends and holidays when Dustin is not spending time with his family or celebrating his faith in Christ, he can usually be found beneath the ocean’s surface. Dustin is an ardent SCUBA diver where he experiments with underwater technology such as sonar navigation and lithium-ion powered propulsion vehicles.
Krista Niglio
ControllerKrista attended San Diego State University where she earned her Bachelor of Sciences degree in their acclaimed accounting program. She started her professional career as an internal auditor for defense industry giant Cubic Corporation where she assisted them in maintaining compliance with Sarbanes Oxley regulation. From there Krista took a position with SCME Mortgage Bankers, one of the top ten private lenders in the nation at the time. At SCME, Krista started off in the accounting department where her duties included preparing the company’s financial statements. She then moved to SCME’s secondary marketing division where she created and traded securities on the secondary market.
Krista joined Payment Logistics prior to the onset of the Great Recession where she assumed the role of company Controller. Her positive impact on the company was immediate and significant. In keeping with the company’s policy to be proactive in every sense of the word, Krista implemented a rigorous quality assurance process where she is credited with reducing inbound customer service calls by an estimated 60% through the prevention of avoidable issues. In doing so Payment Logistics gained efficiencies that enabled the company to allocate more resources to further the development of in-house services. Krista’s obsession to maintain the corporate books in a constant state of reconciliation has enhanced the company’s ability to continue to meet its commitment of accountability to both clients and representatives.
On the weekends and holidays when she’s not spending time with her family, Krista is devoted to serving in her church’s nursery, bringing meals and fellowship to 12 residents of the Michelle House whose lives have been disabled by HIV/AIDS and volunteering her time working on the Compton Initiative which is featured on NBC’s TV show “School Pride.”
Britton Niglio
COOBritton entered the Payment Processing industry directly out of college and after several years in the industry, he co-founded Payment Logistics with his brother Dustin. Britton's work with other companies in the bankcard industry helped him to realize the lack of quality customer service that seemed to be endemic throughout the industry. He understood that establishing long term relationships with clients is the lifeblood of any service organization and he saw this as a niche in forming his own company. His goal was to start a payment processing company that far exceeded its clients expectations. Britton has always believed the key to accomplishing this goal is to provide upfront and honest pricing, live, in-house support and readily available access to our company's decision makers.
Britton is involved in many different facets of the business including overseeing our customer service and technical support divisions, assisting our business development department with high level pricing issues and working directly with our various channel partners to insure our services are delivered in a manner that is consistent with the principles he founded the company on.
Britton attended San Diego State University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Before moving to San Diego he lived in Santa Barbara where he attended Santa Barbara City College. On the weekends and during his free time Britton enjoys playing tennis, basketball and golf. He is also very interested in the stock market and loves listening to live music.
David Schielein
Director of OperationsDavid joined the team in 2006 and has played a pivotal role in developing the core values here at Payment Logistics. His responsibilities include overseeing the day to day operations and he is ultimately involved in all facets of the company.
Over the years, David has recruited a group of key individuals with diverse employment backgrounds which have enabled Payment Logistics to support a vast array of service offerings in-house while maintaining high service standards. During the Great Recession, the credit card processing industry saw a surge of fraudulent activity and credit defaults thus requiring David to take a hands-on role in our Risk Management Department. As a result David commonly works with the electronic crimes unit of various law enforcement agencies throughout the country including the United States Secret Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigations. He and his team have redefined the role of risk management within our organization by implementing a proactive approach to educating merchants on the liabilities associated with accepting credit cards. His leadership in this area has directly saved our clients hundreds of thousands of dollars through the prevention of chargebacks and recovery of fraud losses.
David graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Prior to joining Payment Logistics, he was recruited by Marriott International and worked in management at a number of properties throughout the San Diego region including San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina, Mission Valley Marriott, and the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa.
David is passionate in finding unique ways to give back to the community and was the initial ideologist behind www.swipethecause.org. He and his wife reside in San Diego and enjoy spending their time raising their two daughters and looking for excuses to entertain friends and family.

Ally Niglio
co-CDO (Chief Dog Officer)Ally's primary duty with the company is to ensure employee morale is maintained at optimal levels. She accomplishes this by greeting each employee every morning with a lick (or two). Her enthusiasm at work is contagious and her dedication to the job is next to none.
When she's not roaming the hallways at work, Ally can generally be found snoozing with one of her many squeaky toys, begging her parents for treats or chasing the bigger dogs at the park.
Boozer Niglio
co-CDO (Chief Dog Officer)Boozer's primary duty with the company is to screen all visitors and ensure Ally is protected from bigger and less friendly dogs. Boozer's judgment of character is amazingly accurate and his ability to see two dimensional shapes is unique amongst his kind. Boozer's braveness allows Ally to antagonize bigger dogs and then hide behind him when they show too much interest in her. Boozer's name comes from the black patch around his eye.
When he's not guarding the office, Boozer can be found barking at animals or cartoon figures on the television, chasing the tennis ball at the park or lounging under a shady tree after a good workout.
Our Principles
We believe in honesty, accountability and quality in everything we do. We answer the phone live within three rings during normal business hours and our company executives are always available to address issues in an open and straight forward manner. We focus first on our clients’ bottom line and trust that in doing so our bottom line will take care of itself.
